Translate English video to Hindi
Upload an English video and get a Hindi version back with the speech replaced, not just subtitles laid on top. VoisLabs transcribes the English audio, translates the script into Hindi (हिन्दी), and regenerates the voice track so viewers in Delhi, Lucknow and Jaipur hear the video in their own language. Hindi is the single largest dubbing target in India by search demand, driven by creators widening reach beyond English. The hard part is not the translation — it is the delivery. Devanagari conjuncts and the schwa-deletion rule decide whether "नमस्ते" sounds native or robotic — most general-purpose engines get the trailing vowel wrong. VoisLabs is built for North and Central India rather than adapted from a Western dubbing engine, which is why the Hindi output sounds native instead of like a translation being read aloud. You can use a studio Hindi voice, or clone your own voice from a short recording and keep your delivery across languages.
How to translate English video to Hindi
- 1
Upload your English video
Drop in an MP4 or paste a link. VoisLabs separates the English speech from background music and effects, so the score under your narration survives the dub instead of being flattened. YouTube commentary, exam prep, news explainers are the Hindi verticals this is used for most.
- 2
Review the Hindi script
You get the translated Hindi script before any audio is generated. Edit names, product terms and numbers — the words that machine translation most often gets wrong — then approve it. English is the source language for most Indian corporate training, SaaS explainers and edtech material, which is why almost every dubbing request starts here.
- 3
Pick a Hindi voice and export
Choose a studio Hindi voice or your own cloned voice, generate, and download a WAV or MP3 ready to drop onto your timeline in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Hindi dubbing lives or dies on schwa deletion: 'नमस्ते' read with the trailing vowel sounds instantly foreign to a native ear.
Why translate English to Hindi with VoisLabs
Hindi that passes as native
Devanagari conjuncts and the schwa-deletion rule decide whether "नमस्ते" sounds native or robotic — most general-purpose engines get the trailing vowel wrong. Generic engines treat Hindi as one more locale in a list. VoisLabs tunes for Indian phonetics, so the Hindi track passes with an audience in Delhi and Lucknow.
Your own voice speaking Hindi
Clone your voice once from a short recording and reuse it as the Hindi narrator. Your channel keeps one recognisable voice across every language instead of sounding like a different presenter in each.
You approve the Hindi script first
Automatic dubbing fails loudest on names and jargon. VoisLabs shows the Hindi script as an editable step, so a wrong product name is a two-second fix rather than a re-render.
What people use English-to-Hindi dubbing for
Hindi reels, shorts and ads
Six in ten pieces made on VoisLabs run under a minute. Putting a Hindi audio track on an existing reel or ad reaches viewers in North and Central India without a reshoot, and on short assets what matters most is re-cutting one line after a note, not raw output length.
Hindi explainers and product video
One-to-three minute explainers are the single largest format here. Publishing a Hindi track alongside the English original opens the video to viewers in Delhi and Jaipur who would otherwise scroll past.
Longer Hindi training and course material
A smaller but steady share of the work runs past three minutes — training films and course modules recorded once in English and shipped in Hindi without rebooking a studio or a presenter.
Reaching India from outside it
Studios and creators outside India use Hindi dubbing to open a catalogue to North and Central India without hiring a local voice cast or re-shooting. Checkout takes international cards, and the Hindi voices are tuned for listeners in India rather than for a diaspora accent.

Frequently asked questions
How do I translate an English video to Hindi?
Upload the English video to VoisLabs, review the auto-generated Hindi script, pick a studio or cloned voice, and export. The video's music and effects are preserved; only the speech is replaced.
Is the Hindi voice a real Indian voice?
Yes. VoisLabs offers Indian-language voices tuned for North and Central India rather than repurposed foreign voices, plus voice cloning if you want your own delivery in Hindi.
Can I pay with UPI?
Yes. UPI, cards, net banking and wallets are all supported. Packs start at ₹299 for 18 min, and the Creator pack at ₹799 covers 1 hr including voice cloning. Paying from outside India? International cards work at checkout too.
Are there Indian-language voices beyond this pair?
Yes — VoisLabs dubs between English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi and Gujarati, in either direction.
Do I have to translate the script myself?
No. The Hindi script is generated from your English audio automatically. You only review and edit it — most people change just names and technical terms.
Will the background music be lost?
No. Speech is separated from music and effects before dubbing, so the original score and sound design stay under the new voice track.
What does it cost to try?
You get 2 min free to test the Hindi output before paying. No card is needed to generate your first dub.

Production experience behind this tool
Who already makes Indian-language audio here
307 organisations have signed up on a company domain and 216 of them are actively producing audio — 1,163 voice-overs across 11 Indian languages as of August 2026. The heaviest users are marketing and content agencies, followed by universities and research institutes, SaaS companies, healthcare and pharmaceutical teams, IT consultancies and one global localisation provider. Marathi and Hindi lead the regional mix after English.
We dub production work on this engine, not just demos
The voice stack behind VoisLabs dubbing has delivered commercial work, including a 6 minute 47 second medical-device training film for a leading Indian pharmaceutical company — 69 lines of dialogue across two female voices, dubbed into Hindi and delivered to the production studio cutting the final edit. That job set the constraints this product is built around.
What clinical content taught us about trimming
On medical scripts a line cannot be shortened to fit a timing slot: altered clinical meaning is not an acceptable trade for a tidier mix. We fit takes against the window between one line and the next rather than against each line in isolation, which is why apparent overruns usually are not overruns at all — of 22 lines that looked over budget on that film, only 9 genuinely overran.
A measured finding: TTS engines pad silence
Gemini TTS appends roughly half a second of head and tail silence to every take — 35.4 seconds across 69 takes on that project. A mix that counts padding as speech will compress and trim real dialogue to make room for silence. Stripping head and tail silence before mixing dropped overruns from 18 to 4 and removed the need to speed any audio up. We strip it per-edge rather than globally, because a blanket silence filter also flattens the intentional dramatic pauses the acting direction depends on.

How organisations use VoisLabs
Observed usage patterns from company-domain accounts. Anonymised — sector, language and scale only, never a customer name.
A content marketing agency
English and Marathi
The heaviest user on the platform, past 600 voice-overs, running English and Marathi almost equally. Agency work means many short pieces for different end clients rather than a few long ones, so re-generating a line after a client note matters more than raw output length.
A national engineering institute
Hindi
Produces Hindi audio for teaching and research material. Entirely single-language, which is the pattern for academic users: one target audience, one language, consistent voice across a course.
A South Indian technical college
Tamil
Tamil audio for coursework, in the register students actually speak rather than literary Tamil. Volume clusters around term dates.
A healthcare platform
English and Marathi
Patient-facing explainers in English with Marathi versions for regional reach. Clinical wording is fixed copy, so the constraint is a voice that reads precise terminology cleanly rather than one that performs.
A global language-services company
Hindi
Uses the Hindi voices as part of a wider localisation workflow — the audio layer inside a pipeline that already handles translation and review elsewhere.
A brand and digital agency
Kannada and Telugu
South Indian language voice-overs for client campaigns, where the brief is usually a regional cut of an English original.
A global professional-services firm
English and Hindi
Internal communication and training audio, English-first with Hindi versions.
Logistics and B2B SaaS teams
Hindi
Hindi audio for product walkthroughs and driver- or operator-facing instructions, where the listener is on a phone and not reading.
