Talking Avatars / Audio to video

Audio to video: a presenter that speaks your clip

Start from sound, not footage. Generate a voiceover in Voice Studio (or clone your voice), pick a presenter, and the lips follow the audio — every syllable, in any Indian language. The output is a vertical MP4 up to 2 minutes.

Same audio, different presenters

One Hindi line and one English line, rendered on four presenters. The mouth shapes change with the sound, not with a language setting.

As of September 2026, VoisLabs charges ₹25–₹50 per minute of talking-avatar video (one-time credit packs, 3× the voice rate, no subscription), against about ₹186 per minute on Synthesia Starter and about ₹240 per minute on HeyGen Creator — roughly 7–10× cheaper per minute, with 24 Indian presenters instead of Western avatars dubbed into Hindi.

How it works

  1. 1

    Get the audio

Type a script and generate it in Voice Studio, or use a clip you already made there — including a cloned voice. The clip is the timing source for everything that follows.

  2. 2

    Choose who says it

Pick one of 24 Indian presenters and a pose. The audio is not re-recorded or translated — what you hear is what the presenter says.

  3. 3

    Render

Lip-sync runs on a GPU and the MP4 lands in your history in a few minutes. You are billed 3× the clip length from your voice balance; a failed render is refunded automatically.

What makes audio-first different

Language-agnostic lip-sync

The mouth follows phonemes in the audio, so Malayalam, Bengali or Punjabi clips sync as well as Hindi — no per-language model to wait for.

Your voice, their face

Clone your voice in Voice Studio, then put it on a presenter. Same pitch and pacing as you, without you on camera.

Priced by the second

You pay for the seconds you render, from a one-time pack — ₹25–₹50 per minute of finished video. No monthly minute cap to lose.

Who starts from audio

Podcasters and audio creators

Turn an episode highlight into a vertical clip with a host on screen, for Shorts and Reels.

Voice-note businesses

Sellers who already send WhatsApp voice notes get a presenter version of the same message.

Course narration

Existing lesson audio becomes a presenter-led video without re-recording a line.

Talking avatars — FAQs

Can I upload an MP3 or WAV I recorded elsewhere?

Not yet — the clip has to come from Voice Studio, which includes cloning your own voice from a short sample. Direct audio upload is on the roadmap.

How much does a talking-avatar video cost on VoisLabs?

As of September 2026, VoisLabs charges ₹25–₹50 per minute of talking-avatar video (one-time credit packs, 3× the voice rate, no subscription), against about ₹186 per minute on Synthesia Starter and about ₹240 per minute on HeyGen Creator — roughly 7–10× cheaper per minute, with 24 Indian presenters instead of Western avatars dubbed into Hindi. A 2-minute video on the Creator pack costs about ₹80.

Which languages can the avatars speak?

Any language Voice Studio speaks — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and 11 more Indian languages, plus English. The lip-sync follows the audio, so a Tamil or Malayalam clip moves the mouth correctly; you are not limited to the languages the sample clips were recorded in.

How long can a video be, and what format do I get?

Up to 2 minutes per video, vertical 9:16 at 720p, delivered as an MP4 you can download or share. Longer scripts can be split into two videos.
