Voice Cloning Terms

Last updated: May 31, 2026

These Voice Cloning Terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They apply whenever you create or use a cloned voice on VoisLabs. By recording a sample and saving a cloned voice, you accept these terms.

1. What voice cloning does

Voice cloning lets you record a short sample of a voice and turn it into a reusable voice that you can select when generating speech, just like a preset character. The feature is available only on the Studio plan, and each account may save a limited number of cloned voices.

2. Consent and authorization

You may only clone a voice if one of the following is true:

  • It is your own voice; or
  • You have the explicit, informed permission of the person whose voice it is, and you can produce evidence of that permission if we ask for it.

When you save a cloned voice you confirm that you have this right. You are solely responsible for obtaining and retaining any consent required by law in your jurisdiction.

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use a cloned voice to:

  • Clone a person's voice without their explicit permission.
  • Impersonate any individual to deceive, defraud, or mislead, including fraud, phishing, or social-engineering attempts.
  • Create content that defames, harasses, or violates the privacy or publicity rights of any person.
  • Produce political disinformation, fake endorsements, or any content designed to falsely attribute statements to a real person.
  • Generate unlawful, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
  • Bypass usage limits, security measures, or these terms.

4. Your recording and data

To create a clone we store the voice sample you record and the resulting voice profile on our infrastructure, on your behalf, so the voice can be used for generation. These files are private to your account and are not made public or shared with other users.

We use your sample only to provide the voice cloning feature to you. We do not use it to train shared or general-purpose models for other customers.

5. Deleting a cloned voice

You can delete a cloned voice at any time from the My Voices section of Voice Labs. Deleting a voice removes its stored sample, profile picture, and voice profile from active storage. Audio you previously generated with that voice is not deleted automatically; you remain responsible for any content you have already created or downloaded.

6. Ownership and responsibility

You retain rights to the voice sample you provide, subject to the permissions above. You are responsible for the cloned voices you create and all audio generated with them. The underlying cloning technology, models, and software remain the property of VoisLabs.

7. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe a cloned voice was created without proper consent or is being used in violation of these terms, we may remove the voice, restrict the feature, or suspend your account, with or without notice. You agree to indemnify VoisLabs against claims arising from voices you clone or audio you generate without the necessary rights or consent.
